"Sarah's" surgery
On Dec. 5th my beautiful baby is having surgery.
I'm just sick about it. I love the way she looks now. I fell in love with that face! I am so sad that she has to go through this, one minute she is pain free, she knows how to eat, she can say Mama.... then she will wake up. I wish I could go through it for her.
I try to imagine what she will look like when I see her and I just can't picture it. I know the doctor's are great and I hope the same is for the nurses.
She is a very strong baby. She barely cries when she gets shots. God is with her and this is what is best for her... it just really stinks that her life has to start out like this.
I am praying that I will be strong, because I am certainly not feeling it right now. I had a dream that I saw her and started crying. She does not need that.
Prayers are needed and appreciated.

My first entry!
Hi....
I have to start off by explaining that I am a foster parent, therefore, I cannot use our real first names. The birth families of my children do not have access to our last name so that is real.
I asked my kids to pick out a "web name". So, My oldest and my only biological daughter chose Emmalina. She is 10 going on 15. Next in line is my 6 year old and she chose Ladybug!! My 5 year old and the only boy (besides our two cats) chose Jacob. Next is the baby. She is almost 5 months old and I chose the name Sarah. I will go by Tay.
I have no idea what I am doing because I have never "blogged" before.
I'd like to thank Nick for approaching me at the fair. I have so many questions about Cleft lip/ palate. Answers that I am not getting in a timely manner from doctors.
Anyway, thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know other families that have experienced things that my family is facing.
